Back in 1983 in Australia, Frontier
Software created a Complete Human Resource
Information System and the payroll and HR management
software product chris was born.
Since that date, chris has evolved with
the times - weve regularly shaped and enhanced
our payroll and HR management solution to satisfy both
the growth in user expectations and technological advances.
These include three-tier client/server technology, Internet/Intranet
enabling and ODBC, Oracle and SQL Server access. In
addition, seamless integration with word processing,
spreadsheets and email access are available. The latest
product is called 'chris21'.
Frontier Software has a turnover of over
£16.5m (2005) A$45m, and with a policy that 20% of profits
is spent on research and development, its no wonder
that our customer base is continuously expanding as
we constantly evolve to meet the demands of changing
markets.
Frontier Software has, and always will
boast an International outlook. 1990 saw operations
commence in New Zealand, and in 1991 the first United
Kingdom office opened followed by Singapore in 2002.
Today, with offices throughout Australia,
New Zealand, Singapore and the United Kingdom, Frontier
Software is one of the worlds leading payroll
and human resource management software providers.

is sold directly to end user organisations - we have
installations in 12 countries with a licensed user
base
of more than 1300 clients spanning all industry sectors.
In addition to the development, marketing
and end-user support for the product, Frontier Software
also provide a payroll bureau/outsourcing service in
each country of operation.
